I travelled quite extensively in my life and it is difficult for me to pick the best places that I visited. If I have to come up with a list I think these are my to pick:
1- Hong Kong:
I was incredibly fascinated by this city. It is alive all the time, night and day. It offers incredible shopping, incredible food and stunning views. I deeply enjoyed getting lost in the many street of this city, every corner has something different to offer. This is why I think it is my number one.
What not to like about Paris. The city is beautiful. The food is incredible. The vibe is stunning. I have done all the main tourist attraction in Paris in the past, nowadays when I go I just walk around the streets, grab some lunch in a cafe or simply enjoy people watching.
Venice is just unique. There are many other cities in the world with canals that claim to the Venice of… but nothing is like the real Venice. Every palace on the Grand Canal is unique. Every bridge is beautiful, every church is stunning. I just love to enjoy this city.
Singapore is beautiful modern city with a touch of colonial past. This modern city is incredibly clean and safe. People are friendly. Food is amazing and shopping is fantastic. The scorching heat might be a bit much at times.
Florence is the birth place of the renaissance, every building in downtown Florence remind you of that. It is like walking in history and art. Food in Florence is wonderful and the city is alive with locks and tourists.
Barcellona is a city that never sleeps. The streets are alive with people all the time. It has the perfect combination of old, in the Gothic downtown, and beginning of the 20th century Gaudi architecture. The food is excellent, and no trip to this great city is completed without a stop at the Boqueria.
Rome is the Eternal City. It is always an experience being able to walk in a city that is so rich in history. Walking on the same places where Caesar walked, or the Pope of the renaissance. I love to explore less touristy areas of the city, walking in the narrow streets of the Jewish Ghetto, or the serene park of Villa Borghese.
8- San Francisco
In my opinion San Francisco is the most beautiful city in the United States. The ocean, the Golden Gate, the warm climate makes this city pretty spectacular. I love walking around in Chinatown or Fisherman Wharf, grabbing some lunch with the view of the bay and Alcatraz. The city has a wonderful attitude and it is always busy with people.
When we decided to visit Tokyo I wasn’t expecting much out of the city. I was so wrong! The city is quite beautiful, every area of the city has its unique characteristic that makes it fun and interesting. My favourite areas are the Asakusa and the Sensō-ji Temple, with its incredible traditional Japanese feeling, and the downtown area around the Imperial Palace. I definitely want to go back and explore more of this great city.
10- Vancouver BC Canada
I lived in this great city for many years and I think it is as beautiful as it was the first time I saw it. The majestic mountains reflecting in the Pacific Ocean incredibly beautiful. The city has an amazing diversity and some delicious Asian Food. Despite the fact that is a big and busy city you can still find a little tranquil area to relax and look at the ocean.
